a 366 photo challenge for 2012 - I have joined the friendly crowd at Elements Village on the web and have decided to start at 'A' and follow the 366 themes daily - I like the idea that I will need to take (or make) images that will stretch my skills and imagination - and if I throw in a few extras just for fun - forgive me - OK? Trying to stay focused for a whole year will be a challenge in itself - wish me luck and come and visit anytime...

February 24 - Complexity
I love these images that show the complexity of the architecture of the Eiffel Tower - it is such a beautiful structure, with intricate metalwork and delicate design details.

Boy have you been to a diverse number of places in 2012.
ReplyDeletenot just in 2012 ... some of these are from the last couple of years. We are travellers - always planning the next trip, whether in Australia or o/s.
DeleteThese are swell views of an icon, it is hard to find a different perspective of something that has been photographed a zillion times. Nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellen, I have a touristy one too :)
DeleteCreative framing of this well-known scene. I'd like to have the chance to see Paris.
ReplyDeletePut it on your bucket list - it's a beautiful city. Put Venice and Sydney on the list as well...
DeleteLove the creative framing of this beautiful structure.
ReplyDeleteLove the second image and how you used the tower as a frame! Beautiful (and I am jealous of all your travels).
ReplyDeleteRose You alsked about Wendy's Tutorial and I have added it to the post where you asked, but you have to be a subscriber to the EV Magazine to access it I am afraid. This is the only way I knew to contact you, you can delete this comment after you read it as it doesn't pertain to your Paris Post!
ReplyDeleteLove that you were able to see beyond the obvious....not an easy thing to pull off but you came up with three interesting takes!
ReplyDelete...and to think they were gonna pull it down after the exhibition it was built for....thank god they didn't eh !!!
ReplyDeleteLove the top shot!
ReplyDeleteEiffel tower is great and as you say very complex and detailed. I like the way you use it as framing in the second one. And, a suggestion, put stockholm on your bucket list if you haven't been ;-)
ReplyDeletewill do! I hope we get back to that part of the world sometime soon.
