January 10 - analog

'Analog' - who is the cruel person who wrote this list? My befuddled brain has had so little sleep that I can barely think about the theme today - sleep ... alarm clock ... analog clock - aha! That will have to do. Now to find the camera and see what I can create ;-)
so - decided that the alarm clock was boring but a watch that had been resting on a 'weather' book came up nicely - used the photoshop halftone pattern filter to make it a softer, sepia style image then desaturated a little more - I liked the image from the book's cover of a cyclonic cloud formation and how it repeats the circular face of the watch - anyway that's about the best I can offer this morning.

  1. BTW - no idea why the watch has the wrong date, but couldn't be bothered working out how to change it - sorry!!!

  5. I'm doing them one by one Ron, so I am at the mercy of the words as they come. I figure it will make me think - and stretch my photography a little.

  7. It looks like the watch is actually in the surf--reminds me of the old Timex commercials, which works well with the sepia toning.

  9. Very nice work Rose....I too have been wondering about this theme...guess I'll have to think of something else now for fear of being labelled a plagurist (sic)
