a 366 photo challenge for 2012 - I have joined the friendly crowd at Elements Village on the web and have decided to start at 'A' and follow the 366 themes daily - I like the idea that I will need to take (or make) images that will stretch my skills and imagination - and if I throw in a few extras just for fun - forgive me - OK? Trying to stay focused for a whole year will be a challenge in itself - wish me luck and come and visit anytime...

January 4 - 'Activities'
well, they said it would be a challenge - Activities??? My favourites are taking photographs and drinking a nice glass of red as the sun goes down, but this grey thrush in our shed is just feeding her babies... as fast as she gets some food into them they are waiting for the next meal.

Ah to be an Empty Nester - I am reading the birds mind - Don't ya know! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat action photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture...can almost hear them screeching for more
ReplyDeleteGreat family portrait: the incessant demand of the young and a certain exasperated tolerance on the part of the parent.
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous...and you captured a favorite subject of mine...birds!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you were able to get this photo without the parent bird flying off! Well done.
ReplyDeleteI just love the look on the little fellas face (the one with his mouth full). Seems to say 'Get out of it! Its MINE! Sibling rivalry perhaps? =)
ReplyDeleteLOL - the littlest one snatched a huge frog all to himself and the others were demanding another - the parent just looked exasperated - came back a few minutes later with a lizard to share...
ReplyDeleteI have the frog photo too but this one showed the demands of the others better :-)
I'm with Jackie....surprised the mother didn't fly away....or give you a chase.....great image.
ReplyDeleteI stood very still behind our 4WD a little away from the shed until she forgot I was there and just got on with the feeding. It was worth the wait :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet picture.
