a 366 photo challenge for 2012 - I have joined the friendly crowd at Elements Village on the web and have decided to start at 'A' and follow the 366 themes daily - I like the idea that I will need to take (or make) images that will stretch my skills and imagination - and if I throw in a few extras just for fun - forgive me - OK? Trying to stay focused for a whole year will be a challenge in itself - wish me luck and come and visit anytime...

April 20 - First Class
The Qantas First Class lounge at Sydney airport is an interesting architectural statement with oak dividers to separate various areas and provide some privacy. We managed a visit here before an international flight and the food, service and facilities are superb. Then we had to get into our regular seats on the plane - luckily in a row with lots of leg room, but certainly not 'first class'!!

looks like a really classy part of an airport. Planeseats (regular ones, the ones I know) are certainly not what I call comfortable. Just a necessity to travel fast between 2 points...
ReplyDeleteFascinating angle--and very futuristic. It's been a long time since I've seen this, but it reminds me of some of the earlier scenes in 2001: A Space Odyssey (after the iconic beginning with the apes.)
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky, I can't even afford the ticket to look through the door of First Class!
