a 366 photo challenge for 2012 - I have joined the friendly crowd at Elements Village on the web and have decided to start at 'A' and follow the 366 themes daily - I like the idea that I will need to take (or make) images that will stretch my skills and imagination - and if I throw in a few extras just for fun - forgive me - OK? Trying to stay focused for a whole year will be a challenge in itself - wish me luck and come and visit anytime...

April 13 - Far from home
We were definitely far from home on April 13, bushwalking in the Warrumbungles, so here are some photos from Friday 13th. Those of you who are interested in geology will probably enjoy - I think I need to learn to do panoramas next. The bunny perched on the rocks was a survivor of Easter 2011, sadly he didn't survive the return hike from the tops... I suppose it was an unlucky day for him.

Great shots but don't worry about the bunny, some Dingo will come along and gobble him up!
ReplyDeleteno... we gobbled him up for energy on the hike back down - he was dark choc and very tasty I must admit ...
DeleteThis looks like the American West--Wyoming and Montana, parts of the Dakotas. But, alas, we don't have any such wonderful phrase as, "bushwalking in the Warrumbungles."
ReplyDeleteLOL - yep, it's great to put your tongue around isn't it!
Deletespectacular photos, spectacular scenery, glad we weren't around when the earth burst to create such magnificant rocky eruptions, poor bunny ;<)
ReplyDeleteFantastic scenery! Would love to go bushwalking in the Warrumbungles, but will have to settle for a hike in the woods.
ReplyDeleteLove the scenic shots....the bunny was a fun addition...
