On our sunrise walk we came across many kangaroos, eating, boxing, playing. This one had a full pouch and a few seconds of observation rewarded us with an inquisitive look from the joey, even though his mum continued to ignore our presence... not a super-crisp image because of the zoom - we didn't want to get too close and frighten them. Must invest in some better glass!

ReplyDeleteTerrific shot. Actually, framed perfectly. It's a bit asymmetric, which is always my favorite and adds such interest to the photo. Also, mama kanga is gazing out to the right, which always catches my interest - it's like we feel like we're gazing out in that direction with her. Wonderful picture!!
